Research

Master's Thesis - Generating Lens Design Starting Points with a Language Model (2024): A custom large language model based on the GPT-2 architecture called LensGPT was used to generate lens design starting points based on a provided set of first-order specifications. LensGPT was able to generate novel designs that did not appear in the original dataset that it was trained on.

Honor's Thesis - Transparency & Trustworthiness (2023): Conducted an experiment using a modified version of the one-shot trust game to examine the relationship between different levels of transparency and participant trustworthiniess. The results of the experiment indicated that transparency had a direct, linear, and positive relationship on trustworthy behavior.
